Euro Converter

RBC Royal Bank has discontinued buying and selling drafts, travellers cheques and other payment instruments in the national currency of the 12 Euro member countries.

For your convenience, we are providing a Euro Converter and a Euro Rate Chart, which displays the 'irrevocably fixed' conversion rate between each member country's national currency and the Euro as agreed to by the European Monetary Union on December 31, 1998.

To use the Euro Converter, simply enter the amount you wish to convert in the appropriate box, select the national currency and click the "Convert" button. The equivalent amount will be displayed in Euro.

NOTES:

RBC Financial Group will continue to accept payment instruments in the national currency on a "collection basis" only. Euro Notes and Coins were introduced as legal tender January 1, 2002. RBC Financial Group will continue to accept National Currency Bank Notes for exchange to Canadian dollars until further notice by the Central Banks of the euro countries.
