Andrea Lee Morrow, a recent graduate from Michael A. Riffel in Regina, SK has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help her achieve her goal of becoming a Journalist. Andrea is planning to attend Mount Royal College for Journalism and Communications and will commence full time study in the Fall. She has been involved in a youth internship program at a local radio station; she is the editor of her school newspaper and has attended a variety of Journalism workshops and conferences. Andrea submitted a project and a sample newscast that she did while completing an internship position at a local radio station.

Darcy Warrington, a recent graduate from Westcliffe Composite School in Marengo, SK has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help Darcy achieve his goal of becoming a Music Teacher. Darcy is planning to attend the University of Saskatchewan in the Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Music Combined Program and will commence full-time study in the Fall. He has completed his Grade 10 Practical, Grade 4 History, as well as his Grade 4 Harmony from the Royal Conservatory of Music. For the last two years at Provincial Competitions, Darcy won Percussion Scholarships from the SMFA. Darcy submitted a complete profile of a fictitious rock band. The profile includes band biographies, CD booklet, and music. All the songs were written and recorded by Darcy. He also recorded all of the guitars, drums, and synthesizers for the band.

Alana Hawley, a recent graduate from Kelly Road Secondary in Prince George, BC has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help her achieve her goal of becoming a Professional Actor. Alana is planning to attend the University of Alberta in the Bachelor of Arts Program with a major in Drama and will commence full time study in the Fall. She has been a volunteer performer at the Prince George Theatre Workshop since 1998 and has been a volunteer at the Friendship Centre, teaching handicapped adults how to act and put on a performance. Alana submitted a videotape of monologues that she has performed during her Grade 12 Drama course.

Allan Olson, a recent graduate from Walnut Grove Secondary in Langley, BC has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help him achieve his goal of becoming a 3D Animator. Allan has been accepted at the Vancouver Film School in the 3D Animation and Visual Effects Program and has commenced full time study. Allan submitted a three-minute animated video entitled Roadrunner Show, as well as four visual art pieces.

Alexandra Rhéaume, a recent graduate from Collège Francois-Xavier-Garneau in Québec, QC has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,300 scholarship will help her achieve her goal of pursuing a career in Aeronautics and Aerospace, and Mechanical Engineering. Alexandra has been accepted at McGill University in Mechanical Engineering and will commence full-time study in the fall. Alexandra has tutored physics and mathematics, and represented the College at the Forum Science et Société as well as participated in the Sciences On Tourne! contest. Alexandra spent a year in Germany broadening her horizons and learning a new language. She submitted an essay written for the International Baccalaureate Program on magnetic fields.

Serge Godbout, a recent graduate from Francois Xavier Garneau in Québec, QC has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help him achieve his goal of pursuing a career in Law Enforcement with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Serge has been accepted at L'Université de Laval in the Faculty of Law and will commence full time study in the fall. He has worked for the Canadian Coast Guard as a rescuer, and was a patrol officer/ first-aid worker for Stoneham Mountain Resort. He has also volunteered for Québec City's Road Safety Clinics. Serge submitted a project on a School Zone Safety Program for students and drivers.

Tori Larsen, a recent graduate from Barrie North Collegiate in Barrie, ON has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help her achieve her goal of being a Film Director. Tori has been accepted at York University in the Film Production and Screenwriting Program and will commence full time study in the Fall. She has written two feature-length screenplays and has directed several independent short movies. She belongs to her school's film club. Tori co-wrote a short theatrical play entitled The Writing of MacBeth, which was performed at the 2003 Sears Drama Festival. Tori had a five-month coop placement at Alliance Atlantis as a screenplay coverage/analyses and is currently working on a documentary. Tori submitted a screenplay portraying the obsessive and chaotic behaviour of a teen that has lost her twin brother.

Luigi Di Gennaro, a recent graduate from St. David Catholic Secondary School in Waterloo, ON has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help him achieve his goal of being a Theatre Performer/Writer. Luigi has been accepted at the University of Waterloo in the Honours Arts and Business Program and will commence full time study in the Fall. He won first place in the English Speaking Union of Canada's 2002 Shakespeare on the Platform Competition. He has played the lead in two of his school's theatre productions and has volunteered at a local theatre, assisting stage management during performances. Luigi has also submitted creative writing pieces to local competitions and magazines, and several of his poems are in the process of being published in the magazine New Quarterly. Luigi submitted six poems and a short story.

Sara Forsyth, a recent graduate from Eastern Shore District High School in Musquodoboit Harbour, NS has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help her achieve her goal of becoming a Journalist/Documentary Filmmaker. Sara has been accepted at the University of King's College in the Bachelor of Journalism Foundation Year Program and will commence full time study in the Fall. She has volunteered at the Atlantic Film Festival, Alfresco Film Festival, and the Viewfinders International Film Festival for Youth. Sara is the co-editor of her school's video yearbook, where she films and edits various school events into short musical montages. She also co-created and co-hosted a radio program called The Mad Ferret Hour on CHCN 106.9 fm in Cole Harbour. Sara submitted a video documentary on the status of black people in Nova Scotia. She prepared and conducted the interviews as well as filmed and edited the project.

Robin Zhao, a recent graduate from Stanstead College in Stanstead, QC has been selected as a recipient for an RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship. The $2,003 scholarship will help him achieve his goal of becoming an Interior Designer. Robin is planning to attend Ryerson University in the Interior Design Program and will commence full time study in the Fall. Robin honed his design skills while being a graphic designer in the Stanstead College Web site club and the Multi-Media Club. He designed the T-shirt logo for the school graduation. Robin submitted a portfolio of design work.
