The RBC Avion Air Travel Redemption Schedule applies to economy class flights only. For guidelines on redeeming for business class flights, click here.
The RBC Avion Air Travel Redemption Schedule is available exclusively to RBC Avion cardholders. RBC Avion cards include:
- RBC Visa Infinite Avion
- RBC Visa Platinum Avion
- RBC Visa Business Avion
RBC Avion cardholders can purchase additional points to
use towards air travel. You must have at least half of the
required points for your desired zone booking in order to
purchase additional points. The minimum amount of points
to purchase is 1,000 and maximum is 15,000, and every 1,000
points costs $40 plus applicable taxes. Terms

There is a Maximum Ticket Price in effect for each destination.
For example, a flight from Vancouver to Edmonton requires
15,000 RBC Rewards points and has a Maximum Ticket Price
of $350.
In the event that the base ticket cost exceeds the
Maximum Ticket Price (e.g. base cost is $400), the additional
cost can either be charged to your RBC Avion card or you
can use your points at a rate of 100 points = $1 CDN.
Important booking conditions regarding air travel:
- To book travel, call the RBC Rewards Travel Redemption Centre at 1-877-636-2870.
- Air Travel must be booked at least 14 days in advance
of departure, and redeem from the Avion Air Travel Redemption
Schedule.
- If you require the added flexibility to book your flight
less than fourteen (14) days in advance, you can redeem
your points at a rate of 100 RBC Rewards points to $1CDN.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Taxes and any related surcharges are not included but
can be paid using RBC Rewards points or a charge to your
Avion card.
